Phyllis Wright, age 95, of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Effingham, Illinois, and Bible Grove,
Illinois, went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at the Emmanuel Campus of Care in Peoria, Arizona.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM – Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Carroll Ross officiating.  Burial will be in the Shouse Chapel Cemetery in rural Bible Grove, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Phyllis was born on March 24, 1924, in Bible Grove Township, Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford and Adelia (Gould) Paschal.  She married Emil F. Wright on February 24, 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 4, 1982. Clifford Ray, their infant son, preceded them in death.

Phyllis was a member of Shouse Chapel Methodist Church until moving to Arizona in 1996. She was very active in both the local and state Women's Christian Temperance Union.  She attended the Glendale Baptist Church in Glendale, Arizona

Son – Gerald (Deanna) Wright of Sun City, Arizona

Grandchildren – Tammy (Jay) Bridges of Altamont, Illinois; Michelle (Tom) Jacobs of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Kristi (Mike) Calderwood of Peoria, Arizona; Justin (Christine) Wright of Glendale, Arizona                                                                                                            Great Grandchildren – Clifford Gould, Rebecca Gould, Kaleb Calderwood, Kyra Calderwood, Ty Jacobs, Ellie Jacobs, Anthony Garey, Jacob Wright, Ellie Rose Wright, and Great-Great Evelyn Rose Gould

Phyllis was preceded in death in by her parents, her husband Emil, and her grandson Jason Wright.
