Randall Joe "Randy" Burson, age 62

Randall Joe "Randy" Burson, age 62 of Casey, Illinois, passed away at 9:45 PM – Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Randall Joe, better known as "Randy" was born on September 3, 1957, in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Dickie Joe and Retha Lucinda (Knifley) Burson.  He married Mashell Marie Rowley on June 10, 2006.

Randy served his country from July 21, 1975 until December 1, 1975, in the United States Army.

Randy was a meat cutter for many years, working at Albertson's and Kroger.

Dad – Dickie Joe (Janet) Burson of Casey, Illinois

Children – Jay (Erin) Burson of St. Louis, Missouri; Brian (Candice) Burson of Martinsville, Illinois; Brittney Homann of Mattoon, Illinois and Kristy Burson of Mattoon, Illinois

Grandchildren – Sevienne, Anthony, McClain, Emma, Briar, Mason and Blair

Great Grandchildren – Milo and Vinnie

Brothers – Jim Burson of Mattoon, Illinois and Mark (Freda) Burson of Greenup, Illinois

Sisters – Peggy (Greg) McMillan of Casey, Illinois; Shanna Burson of Casey, Illinois and Sue (Chuck) O'Brien of Lake Ozark, Missouri

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive

Randy was preceded in death by his mother.
