Mr. Randall Gene Ledbetter, age 82
of Greenup, IL and formerly of Hardin County, IL went to live with the Lord at 3:00 AM -
Friday, December 28, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will held at 2:00 PM – Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Bro. Brooke Davis. Burial will be in the Jack Oak Cemetery north of Greenup, IL with full military rites by the Cumberland County Veterans Association.
Visitation will be held 1hour before the service at the funeral home.

Randall was born in Hardin County, IL the son of John Nelson and
Gladys Marie (Gibbs) Ledbetter. He married Ellen Nadine Thurman on January 29, 1952
and she preceded him in death on January 30, 2010.
Randall served his country in the United States Army as Sergeant during the Korean Conflict.
He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Korean Presidential unit citation, Japanese Occupation ribbon, Korean service medal with four campaign stars, UN service medal,
American theater, good conduct, Philippine Liberation and WW II Victory ribbons.
Randall was a heavy equipment operator. He operated the gravel pit north of Greenup for many years and was a member of the Operation Engineers 841.
He attended the First Southern Baptist Church in Greenup.

Brayden and Kellen Richmond
Randall was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Libburn, Henry and
Herchel Dale Ledbetter.
