Rebecca "Becky" Hough McClure, age 75

September 23, 1948 – February 28, 2024

Rebecca "Becky" Hough McClure, 75, of Olney, Illinois, formerly of Noble, Illinois, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on February 28, 2024.

Becky was born on September 23, 1948, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Dick and Ruth (Gaddy) Hough.  She married Ronnie McClure on May 9, 1987, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2008.

Becky was a social person, who enjoyed being around her friends and especially her family. Becky worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years then worked at the Olney VFW for 30 years.  She was a member of the First Christian Church of Noble, Illinois and the Olney VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Becky's kindness and laughter will be missed by all who know her.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Heather (Zach) Buchanan; son, Jerry (Carrie) Hough; Granddaughter, Brooklyn Ferguson-Buchanan; Grandsons, Dalton Hough, Jaycen (Telia) Jarvis, Josh (Brianna) Jarvis, and Jaycob (Cambria) Jarvis;
3 Great-grandchildren, Brothers Tom (Judy) Hough and Charlie Hough; Sister, Sandy (Rosborough) Gaede; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents; Husband Ronnie; Brothers, Gary Gaddy and Jim Hough; Sister JoAnn Tracy.

A Celebration of Life Dinner will be held at the Olney VFW on April 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM. All friends and family are invited.

Memorials may be made out to either the Olney VFW Auxiliary or Carle Richland Hospice.
