Rebecca Lynn (Vancil) Gossage, age 58 of Olney, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence in Olney.

No services are being planned at this time. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Rebecca was born on December 4, 1959 in Rushville, Illinois, the daughter of Moris and Donna (Thompson) Vancil. She later married Randy Gossage on August 2, 1989 in Henderson, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2014.

She worked for Roadmaster. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Rebecca is survived by her mother Donna Vancil of Olney; son, Jeremy Cook of Olney; daughter Brandy Garrett and husband Jordan of Olney; brother Bob Vancil of Beardstown, IL; sister Amanda Vancil of Rushville, IL; 8 grandchildren, Masen Garrett, Maddux Garrett, Makynlee Garrett, Brody Hilderbrand, Braydon Canady, Sequouia Davis, Kellie Canady, Allie Treat; great-granddaughter Ellie Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Gossage, father Moris Vancil, maternal grandmother Marion Thompson, and uncle Jim Thompson.
