Rhonda McGee, 56, of Olney, passed away at 6:50 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Visitation will be from 11AM -1 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Bible Grove. Vickie Sanders will be officiating.

Rhonda was born on March 11, 1966 in Olney, the daughter of Freda Stover. She later married Doug McGee on October 21, 2010 in Olney.

She worked as a journalist and worked in advertising at the Olney Daily Mail. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, drawing, and decorating. She also enjoyed fashion and cooking. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and especially her nieces and nephews.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Doug McGee; sister Janet Engelhardt (Rich) of Champaign; several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her four-legged fur babies, dogs Belle, Tuff, Shelby, and cats Diesel and Macy.

She is preceded in death by her mom Freda (McGregor) Lester, sister Carol McConnell, and brother Howard McGregor.
