Robert 'Bob' E. Thrasher, 83, of Ridgway, passed away at 5:58 AM on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Gallatin Manor in Ridgway.

Graveside service will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Crawford Campground Cemetery in Ridgway.

Bob was born on March 8, 1938, in Olney, the son of Noble 'Pete' and Edith (Mills) Thrasher. He later married Dorothy Jean Endicott on June 21, 1960 in Shawneetown. She preceded him in death on June 10, 2014.

Bob served in the United States Army. He worked as a security guard. He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He was best known for working on lawn mowers in his spare time and other equipment. He is a past member of the Ridgway American Legion.

He is survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Thrasher, parents Pete and Edith Thrasher, two sons Darrell and Larry Dean Thrasher, his first wife Sue 'Bean' Thrasher, and 8 brothers and sisters.
