Obituary
Robert Henry Effner, age 75
Of rural Sigel, Illinois passed away at 4:08 AM – Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Robert's life will be held at 3:00 PM – Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Wheeler, Illinois with Pastor Stephen Gillet officiating. Burial will be in the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Illinois. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service. In loving memory of Robert, memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Cemetery Fund. Robert was born on September 15, 1939 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Oscar and Esther (Meislahn) Effner.
Robert worked at Superior Equipment and retired from Petty's in Effingham after many years of service. He enjoyed farming.
Robert was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Wheeler, Illinois.
Robert is survived by:
Cousins – Charlene Martin of Roselle, Illinois
Dean (Karla) Meislahn of Big Cabin, Oklahoma
Fred (Judy) Meislahn of Sigel, Illinois
Ted (Cherie) Meislahn of Adair, Oklahoma
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
