Robert K. Keortge, 86, of Mt. Carmel, died at 7:05 PM, Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehab in Mt. Carmel.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life service are scheduled at 2 PM on Sunday October 26th, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois at the  Mt. Carmel Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Robert was born on August 2oth, 1928, the son of Karl O. Keortge and Ruth Clodfelter. He later married Wilma Jean Hinderliter on August 20th, 1949 at the Moravian Church in West Salem. She precedes him in death.

He worked as a farmer, truck driver and a factory worker for many years, Jehovah Witness by faith and he will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Robert is survived by two sons, Robert E. Keortge, and his wife Patricia, and David A. Keortge and his wife Glenda; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Keortge, parents Karl and Ruth Keortge and a step grandchild.
