Robert Dean Pflaum, age 85 of Noble, passed away at 3:34 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Helia Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.

A private family service will be at a later date at Noble Prairie Cemetery. Cremation rites will be accorded. Pastor Doyle Williams will be officiating.

Robert was born on May 24, 1935 in Noble, the son of Ralph Earnest and Minerva (Barnett) Pflaum. He later married Mary Lou Wilson on May 30, 1957 in Olney. She preceded him in death.

He worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a former Village of Noble Trustee, a Master Mason and a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, watching Gunsmoke on television and gardening. He will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his 3 daughters Janet Pflaum and significant other Doug Cassady of Noble, Karla Ridgley of Fairfield, Sherry Hall (Tim) of Florida and Trudy Wheat (Dean) of Fairfield; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Pflaum, parents Ralph and Minerva Pflaum, daughter Cindy O'Dell and one infant grandson Adam McCormick.
