Robert A. Swinson, age 71 of Olney, passed away at 7:35 AM on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Aperion Care in Olney.

Celebration of Life service is being scheduled for a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Robert was born on May 3, 1948 in Olney the son of Orville and Opal (Bare) Swinson. He later married Christine Stockton on January 15, 1983 in Jasper County.

He worked as an office manager for many years. He was a Cardinals and Illini fan and loved watching westerns. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife Christine Swinson; 2 sons Daniel and Brandon Stockton; 4 brothers Lee Swinson (Sharon), Terry Swinson, David Swinson (Kelly), Bruce Swinson; sister Kathy Swinson; and 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Orville and Opal Swinson.
