Roberta "Bobbi" Griffith, age 74

Of Newton, IL passed away at 11:30 PM –Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her home surrounded
by her family and pets.

Funeral services celebrating Bobbi's life will be held at 10:00 AM – Thursday, March 21, 2013
at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Rev. Steve Willis officiating. Burial will be in the New St. Peter Cemetery near Newton, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the funeral home. In loving memory of Bobbi, memorials may be made to E.A.R.S. (Effingham Animal Rescue Sanctuary), with envelops at the funeral home.

Roberta Lea was born October 6, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of William and Grace (Hofman) Formato. She married Anthony "Tony" Griffith on October 12, 1992.
Bobbi worked alongside Tony in several businesses serving as manager and co-owner of Griffith Trucking, Heartland Towing, Heartland Classics, Griffith Stables and B.G.'S Farm and Feed.
Bobbi was known for her love of her animals. Her horses, cats and dogs Ozzie and Auggie being her four legged kids. Bobbi was passionate about the protection and care of animals and supported several animal rescue organizations such as Save the Wolves, E.A.R.S and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

Children - Samuel Daddono of Grant Park, Illinois
William (Mary Anne) Daddono of Rumson, New Jersey
Debra (Robert) Streit of New Hall, California
Grandchildren - Nicholas Streit; Kurt Streit; Molly Daddono; William Daddono and Sam Daddono
Sister- Christine Ficco
Cousins - Rosemary Pistilli; Albert Ciccia; Jeanne Formato
Dogs - Ozzie and Auggie

Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, several aunts and uncles and dogs Tobi, Toku and Sally and
a special horse Arnie.
