Rosanna M. (Hardig) Wyatt, Age 81, of Olney, Passed Away At 8:30 PM, on Friday, April 15, at her Daughter's Home in Olney, surrounded by her children.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, in the Chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home, in Olney. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, in Claremont, IL. Father Marc Stec will officiate.
Rosanna was Born on August 16, 1934, in Claremont, IL, the daughter of Daniel C. and Bernice W. (Phillips) Hardig. She married William Calvin Wyatt, on February 23, 1952, in Olney. He preceded her in death, on March 2, 1999.
Rosanna and her husband William C. Wyatt owned and operated Wyatt Strawberries, for several years. She was a Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a Lifetime Member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her Family, car rides (with ice cream cones), sewing, fishing, mushroom hunting, bowling and long walks. She will be sadly missed by Family, Friends and all who knew her.
Rosanna is survived by 4 children: Ellen (Arlon) Smith of Olney, Linda (Gregg) Robbins, of Lawrenceville, Daniel Wyatt, of Olney and Valerie (Tom) Wrausmann, of Alton, IL; 4 Sisters: Thrasilla Hornung, of Germany, Geraldine Read, of Vincennes, Mary Brault and Loretta Duncan, both of Olney, IL; 12 Loving Grandchildren, 14 Loving Great Grandchildren, Special Brothers and Sisters In-laws.
She was preceded in death by: Parents Daniel and Bernice Hardig, Husband William C. Wyatt, Son Benjamin Wyatt and his wife Pam Wyatt, Brothers Marion E. Hardig, Donald Hardig, Richard D. Hardig and Granddaughter Kelly Wyatt.
Memorials can be made to: American Lung Association and/or St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund (in Olney).
