Ruby Dean Frauli, age 89
of Newton, Illinois and formerly of Willow Hill, Illinois passed away at 11:20 PM – Monday, March 16, 2015 at HSHS St Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 20, 2015, at
St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Ste. Marie, Illinois. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois and 1/2 hour prior to the Mass at the church.
In loving memory of Ruby, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Ruby was born on July 15, 1925 in Newton, Illinois the daughter of George and Dorothy (Sinclair) Utley. She married Charles A. Frauli on September 25, 1942 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2002.
Ruby was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois. She was a member of the Olney Moose, Ste. Marie Post # 932 Auxiliary and Newton VFW Post #7537 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed league bowling in Newton, gardening, canning, sewing and was an avid bingo player.
Ruby is survived by:
7 Children - Donald E. (Denise) Frauli of Garland, Texas;
Janet K. (Robert) Rea of West Branch, Michigan;
Phyllis Rudolphi of Newton, Illinois;
John R. (Holly) Frauli of Dwight, Illinois;
Charles D. (Shirley) Frauli of Indianapolis, Indiana;
George Frauli of Edinburg, Illinois and
Tom (Cindy) Frauli of Effingham, Illinois
Sister - Phyllis Jane Workman of Bedford, Texas
Sister-in-law - Mary Utley of San Bernardino, California
11 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son James E. Frauli; son-in-law Henry Rudolphi; daughter-in-law Marcia Frauli; brothers John William Utley and Clifford Utley; sisters Marie Miller and Georgia Loy.
