Ruby J. Earnest Wakefield Keach, age 90
of Newton, Illinois passed away at 11:05 PM – Monday, March 2, 2015
at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Ruby's life will be held at 2:00 PM – Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Potter's House Ministry in Newton, Illinois with Ron Mulvey officiating. Burial will be in the Honey Cemetery in Bogota, Illinois. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.
In loving memory of Ruby, memorials may be made to the Japer County Cancer Fund

Ruby was born on April 27, 1924 in Rose Hill, Illinois the daughter of Russell and Bernice (Hillyer) Madden. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
Ruby was a member of the Potter's House of Ministry in Newton, Illinois. She was an excellent cook especially baking. She enjoyed doing needle point, gardening and blackberry picking.

Grandchildren – Donna Bridges, Kevin Bridges, Eric Alvis, Carl Alvis, Craig Ingram, Carrie Ingram Abernathy, Fred Wakefield, Josh Wakefield, Adam Wakefield, Alec Wakefield, Jimmy Rash, Suzie Rash, Joe King, Donnie Drew, Billy Drew, Will May, Sean May and Ashley Pruemer
