Ruby D. Songer, age 85
Of Newton, IL passed away at 1:50 PM – Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Burgin Manor in Olney, IL.

Ruby was born on June 19, 1927 Pesotum, IL the daughter of Scott Winifield Hancock Woods and Alice Catherine (Yingst) Woods. She married Loyd Songer on December 4, 1955 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1975. Ruby was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed working puzzles.

Jim Songer of Toledo, IL
Judy Houser of Newton, IL
11 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren with one expected in December and 1 Great Great Grandchild

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
