It is with deep sadness that family of Ruth Ann Anderson, age 81, of Olney, Illinois, passed peacefully on September 25th, surrounded by family.
 She lived most of her life on Honey Lane in Olney and was proud to have worked at RMH for more than 40 years.
 Ruth was born on March 24, 1945, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of John Elmer and Eva Mae (Meyers) Martz.
 She married Ernest Red Anderson in October of 1970, and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1979.

There will be a Memorial Service for Ruth on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM 
with a visitation for 1 hour prior to the service at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.

Ruth loved to crochet gifts for others, care for her lawn and play the Illinois Lottery. Her greatest love was her family, 
she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Church.
 Ruth’s family is grateful for everyone at Emerald Glen, for the community they welcomed her into and the joy they brought her, 
as well as all the staff at Linda E. White Hospice in Evansville, IN for compassion, kindness, and dignity they provided in caring for her.
She will be loved and missed greatly, but not forgotten

Several Nieces and Nephews
and cat Mittens

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson James Tillery.
