Ruth Hardy's Obituary
Ruth Eleanor Hardy, age 85
Of Greenup, IL passed away at 4:15 PM – Friday, July 29, 2011 at Cumberland Rehab & Health Care.
Funeral service for Ruth will be held at 11:00AM – Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Bro. Bill Roan officiating. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Toledo Life Center.
Ruth was born on November 1, 1925 in Coles County, Illinois the daughter of Dorsey & Nellie (Mercer) Hardy.
Ruth was a member of Toledo Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and singing. She also liked watching westerns and going to the Toledo Life Center.
Ruth is survived by- Several Nieces & Nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters- Norma Jean Sappington, Leone Sowers and Irma Fransden and 3 brothers Jerry Hardy, Bill Hardy and Jim Hardy
