RuthAnn Gowin, age 77

October 18, 1938 – June 28, 2016

Retired FBI Investigative Assistant, Ms. RuthAnn Gowin formerly of Ste. Marie, Illinois, passed away June 28, 2016.

A funeral mass celebrating RuthAnn's life will be held at 11:00 AM – Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois with Fr. Robert Spriggs, celebrating mass.  Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, Illinois.  Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the mass at the church.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ste. Marie, Illinois.  In addition, a memorial mass will be held at St. Celestine Church, Chicago, IL on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  In loving memory of Ruth Ann memorials may be made to the society of FBI Alumni 2250 Bear Den Road, #303, Frederick, MD 21701-9409.

RuthAnn is survived by her brother Dean Gowin and wife Brenda of Mattoon, Illinois, sister Kathy Gowin Dillman and husband Dave of Holly Springs, North Carolina, four nephews and one niece and their families: Brian Dillman of Vestal, New York, Laura Dillman Behnke of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Jason Gowin of Charleston, Illinois, Eric Dillman of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and Ryan Gowin of Florida.

Preceding her in death were here parents Merece and Gerrie Gowin and sister-in-law Carol Gowin.
