Sandra J. DuVall, age 79

September 3, 1944 – December 21, 2023

Sandra J. DuVall, age 79, of West Salem, Illinois, and formerly of Griffith, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 4:00 PM – Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Helia Healthcare of Olney, Illinois.

A private graveside service will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point, Indiana.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.

Sandra was born on September 3, 1944, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Coleman and Rosa (Murphy) Moore.  She married Robert Dale DuVall and he preceded her in death in January 2019.

Sandra was an insurance sales agent.  She enjoyed all sorts of crafts, storytelling and camping at their home away from home.  Sandra loved being with her grandchildren and her dog.

Laura (Doug) Delaughter of Crown Point, Indiana; Lynda (Randy) Raab of St John, Indiana; and Todd (Norine) DuVall of Valparaiso, Indiana

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Wilma Baker.
