Sandra Jeanne Peterson, age 78

Mrs. Sandra Jeanne Peterson, of Newton, Illinois, and formerly Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away at 2:20 AM – Friday, March 9, 2016, at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingam, Illinois.

Private family services will be held.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Sandra was born on January 24, 1938, in Benton Harbor, Michigan the daughter of Dwain and Mildred (Boyce) Hardke.  She married Allen Peterson, and he preceded her in death.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Jeffrey Peterson; brother Jack Hardke; sisters, Linda Easley, Luann Easley, and Vicki Sue Rubsam, who passed away on March 11, 2016.
