Sean Harrison Shamhart, age 28

Sean Harrison Shamhart, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 11:47 PM - Thursday, August 11, 2016, at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM – Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery near Latona, Illinois.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 PM – Monday, August 15, 2016 at the funeral home.   In loving memory of Sean, memorials may be made to the Macie Nicole Education Fund.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Sean was born on April 9, 1988, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Bill Stacey and Jacquelyn Jo (Judy) Shamhart.  He was a graduate of Newton Community High School, graduating with the Class of 2006.

Sean was currently employed at Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in Newton, Illinois.

Sean was a member of the Falmouth United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding bikes and old cars.  His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter.

Parents – Bill and Jacquelyn Shamhart of Newton, Illinois

Daughter – Macie Nicole of Newton, Illinois

Brother – Nicholas Shamhart of Newton, Illinois

Grandparents – Jack and Bonnie Judy of Newton, Illinois and

Lester and Dolores Shamhart of Wheeler, Illinois

Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Sean was preceded in death by his cousins Steven Joe Judy, Jr on November 7, 2015, and Mika Leann Judy on November 21, 2015.
