Sheila A. Herman, age 86 of Shady Cove Oregan, formerly of Olney, Illinois, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Medford, Oregan.
Sheila was born on January 22, 1940, the daughter of Byron and Ruth (Green) Hufford in Danville, Illinois.
She married George Herman on November 14, 2011, in Laurens, South Carolina, he preceded her in death on February 18, 2020.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Christian Church of Olney at 1:00 PM
with visitation for family and friends for two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Liberty Lawn Cemetery, rural Olney, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Sheila was a member of the Christian Church of Olney for many years. She was very proud to be farmer’s wife and husband to George. She loved her children and was very close to her many grandchildren. She lived an interesting life working in banking for 25 plus years, was a forensic artist for the Orlando County and Osceola County Sheriff offices in Florida for four years, accurately drawing for them, helping to solve several crimes. She worked as a CNA in home-health caring for people to help them stay in their own homes.

Tom Hufford of Sebastian, Florida
10 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband George.
