Shirley Marlene Rieman, age 77

of rural Wheeler, Illinois passed away at 8:50 PM – Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM – Monday, July 20, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bishop Creek, IL with Fr. Joe Carlos celebrating mass. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery in Latona, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00–8:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the church and ½ hour prior to mass. In loving memory of Mrs. Rieman, memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice or the Murray Parent Association.
Arrangements are in the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, IL.

Shirley was born on December 9, 1937 in rural Jasper County, Illinois the daughter of Clyde and Opal Lucille (Bailey) Jones. She married Louis James Rieman on November 30, 1957 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2014.
Shirley was a farmer's wife and homemaker. She was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church of the St. Isidore the farmer Parish. She also was a member of the Board of Directors for Murray Parent Association in Centralia, Illinois.
Shirley enjoyed doing photography, sewing and was a great cook especially baking.

Jim (Sheila) Rieman of Wheeler, IL and Gary (Mandy) Rieman of Newton, IL

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Larry Lynn Jones.
