Sonia Marie Crawford, age 40 of Flora, passed away at 1:22 AM on Friday, February 20th, 2015 in Deaconess Hospital Main Campus in Evansville, Indiana.

Cremation rites were accorded and a small private family service was held on Monday, February 23rd, 2015 in the Chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. The family plans to scatter her ashes in one of her favorite places on a beautiful spring day.

Sonia was born on December 12th, 1974 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Gary and Sue Crawford. Her mother survives.

Sonia was a stay at home mom, a private person, who was Baptist by faith and will be sorely missed by her children, family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Sue Staley and her husband Jeffrey of Calhoun, boyfriend Michael McGee of Flora, 3 sons, Luke Douglas of Olney, Curtis Douglas of Patterson, IL., Aaron Douglas of Flora; step-son Dakota McGee; brother Thomas White and wife Christine of Olney, sisters Angela White-Hart of Dow IL., Lacey Mackelden of Dow, IL., step-sister Dixie Staley, step-brother Jason Staley, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Russell Douglas, and her father Gary Crawford.
