Thomas Jasper "Jap" Jayne, 48

Of Marshall, Illinois passed away at 3:54 PM – Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 PM – Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois with services to follow with Randy Black officiating. In loving memory of Thomas, memorials may be made to the family.

Thomas was born on October 23, 1966 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Thomas Clay and Ladora (Weck) Jayne.
Thomas was an auto body repairman. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, collecting marbles and was a Dallas Cowboy Fan. His greatest enjoyment was being out in nature and treasured all it had to offer.

Brothers – Richard Jayne (special friend Dee Reed) of Marshall, Illinois
William "Duke" Jayne of Marshall, Illinois
Anthony (Robbie) Jayne of Decatur, Illinois
Sisters – Tammy (Jerry) Hightshoe of Marshall, Illinois
Hope (Mike) Jayne of Sterling, Illinois
Special friend – Susan Arnold of Marshall, Illinois
Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father Thomas Clay Jayne, brother John Patrick Jayne, grandparents Gene and Dora Weck and Jasper and Alberta Jayne.
