Timothy Lloyd "Tim" Ferguson, age 64

January 4, 1959 – March 6, 2023

Timothy Lloyd "Tim" Ferguson, age 64, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away at 8:30 AM - Monday, March 6, 2023, at his home.

Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 PM – Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  A service celebrating Tim's life will be held at 6:00 PM.  In loving memory of Tim, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Support Group or the Willow Hill United Methodist Church.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Timothy Lloyd, better known as "Tim," was born on January 4, 1959, in Oblong, Illinois, the son of Herman Eugene and Mary Alice (Stoltz) Ferguson.  He graduated from Newton Community High School with the Class of 1977.

Tim married his high school sweetheart Vicki Curtright, on June 3, 1978, at the Shiloh Conservative Christian Church west of Willow Hill, Illinois.  They had been together since their first date on April 2, 1976.

Tim owned and operated Ferguson Wood Products near Willow Hill, for over 30 years alongside his wife and children.  Tim was an avid puller at area fairs for many years, pulling with his International 1468 V-8 tractor.  He enjoyed woodworking, boating, watching tractor pulls, listening to countless songs and sharing a dance with his wife. Tim always had a way of making people laugh and was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family, especially his three grandsons.

Tim is survived by his loving family:

Wife of 44 years – Vicki Ferguson of Willow Hill, Illinois

Daughter – Aubrey (Chris) Bergbower of Newton, Illinois

Grandsons – Grady Bergbower, Tristan Ferguson, and Isaiah Bergbower

Brother – Mike (Marilyn) Ferguson of Robinson, Illinois

Sister – Sharon Shacklee of Makanda, Illinois

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his son Travis Ferguson, and his father and mother-in-law, Wayne "Pedro" and Margaret Curtright.
