Vicky Mae Armstrong, age 74, of West Salem, Illinois, passed away at 9:02 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois. Vicky was born on December 18, 1951, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Helen Scobey. She married Robert Armstrong in 1971, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.

Vicky was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed crocheting.

Grandchildren – Autumn Francis, Zach Francis and Bree Francis

Son-in-law – Shawn Francis

Brother – Robert Harvey of Moline, Illinois

Sister – Ellen Graham of Moline, Illinois

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents Helen Scobey Harvey and William Henry Harvey, husband and a daughter Virginia Mae “Ginny” Francis on July 4, 2025, and a brother William R. Harvey.
