Viola Jane Gray, age 85
Of Yale, IL passed away at 6:20 PM – Friday, May 24, 2013 at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Rev. Stephen Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Yale Cemetery in Yale, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at the funeral home.
Viola was born on September 1, 1927 in Posey, IL the daughter of Walter and Cora (Foster) Hillard. She married Ralph Gray and he preceded her in death.
Viola worked at Newton Rest Haven and was a homemaker, wife and mother.
Viola enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Earl Gray; brother William Hillard and a sister Julia Hillard.
