Vivian D. (Drews) Patterson, 89 of Noble, passed away at 2:55 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2022 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.

No services are being planned at this time. Cremation rites will be accorded. Thrasher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Vivian was born on January 29, 1934, in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of Henry and Ella Drews. She later married Glen Patterson on August 7, 1986 in Olney. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2004.

She was a registered nurse at Burgin Manor, now known as Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney for many years before she retired. She was a member of Glenwood Church in Noble. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Vivian is survived by her 5 sons, Richard Wallis Jr. (Carolyn) of Liberty, Missouri, Charles Smith (companion Melissa) of Olney, Jeff Smith of McLeansboro, Roger Smith (Patti) of Opdyke, Karl Smith of Flora and step-son Gary Patterson (Margaret) of Noble; and several grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Glen Patterson and both parents.
