Walter Franklin "Frank" Levingston, age 86
of Jewett, IL passed away at 2:10 PM - Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Rev. Tim Pearce officiating. Burial will be in Jewett Cemetery in Jewett, IL with full military rites by the Cumberland County Veteran's Association. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Frank was born on April 30, 1926 in Collinsville, IL the son of Walter Guy and Christine Emily (Battoe) Levingston.
Frank served his county in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Greenup American Legion Post #566 and a lifetime member of the Greenup VFW Post #4598 and enjoyed farming.
Frank married Phyllis J. Curtner on June 25, 2005 and she survives.
