Wanda Maxine Adams, age 86
of Dieterich, Illinois passed away at 2:55 AM – Friday, September 25, 2015 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Effingham, Illinois.
Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:30 AM – Monday, September 28, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Dieterich, Illinois with Fr. Joseph Carlos celebrating mass. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service in the church. In loving memory of Maxine, memorials may be made to the St. Isidore Parish. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.
Wanda Maxine was born on August 15, 1929 in Festus, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Hattie (Gendron) DeBoor. She married Leland "Charlie" Adams on April 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1995.
Maxine retired from Illinois Consolidate after many years of service as a telephone operator. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish and the ladies sodality.
Maxine is survived by a sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, special friends and caregivers.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Bonnie Sue Matlock and two brothers Jack and Trenton "T.J." DeBoor.
