Wanda Lois Taylor, age 80

Of Newton, IL passed away at 5:46 PM – Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Burgin Manor in Olney, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM – Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Madisonville, KY. In loving memory of Wanda, memorials may be made to the Burgin Manor Aspen Wing Activity Fund. Arrangements are pending at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL.

Wanda was born on March 18,1933 in Madisonville, KY the daughter of
Lee Roy and Opal Mae (Bourland) Brumit.
She married James Taylor on October 14, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1993.
Wanda worked in a medical clinic and had been a baby sitter.
Wanda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Union City, TN and
was also a member of the Women's group and choir of the church.
Wanda was a big Elvis Presley fan and she enjoyed dancing, reading, playing bingo and singing church hymns.

Wanda is survived by:
3 Children – Connie (Jim) Davidson of Newton, IL
Don (Lechia) Taylor of Sycamore, IL
Glenn Taylor of Scottsdale, AZ
Grandchildren – Kim (Greg) Moore, Chad Davidson, Seth Taylor, Tiffany Taylor, Fallon Taylor and Sean Taylor.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
