William R. Rotramel Jr.

May 22, 1948 – April 15, 2023

William R. Rotramel Jr, age 74, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on April 15, 2023, at Helia Healthcare of Olney.

Private services will be held with burial in the Zion United Methodist Cemetery in West Salem, Illinois.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.

William was born on May 22, 1948, in Albion, Illinois, the son of William R. and Della Mae (Perry) Rotramel Sr.  He married the love of his life, Mary K. Yates, on May 14, 1971, and she preceded him in death.

William worked for many years at AMF, becoming Road Master then Pacific Cycle.  He enjoyed doing needle point to calm him, reading and listening to many genres of music especially Elvis, vintage country and religious.

William is survived by his sister Linda and Ron Kelsey, several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

William was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a sister Pearl Nanette Combs.
